I grew up around building. When I was a little girl, I wasn't playing dress up and having tea parties. No, instead I was helping my dad at open houses serving up coffee and cookies. I didn't play with dolls; I built houses out of LEGOs. I would rather ride around on heavy equipment than watch cartoons. I grew up observing and learning everything I could about turning a pile of rough lumber into a home. It didn't stop in my childhood. In high school, I was hooked on drafting classes. And by the time I made it to college, I knew this would be my career.
I attended Montana State University and graduated with honors in Business Marketing with an emphasis in Economics. The most valuable lessons I learned are a quality product will sell itself and the business you gain from satisfied customers will far exceed any flashy marketing gimmicks.
So why become a Realtor?
Well, the obvious answer to that would be the money, right? True. I won't try to convince you that did not contribute to my decision, but there is so much more to it. Buyers are smart. They know what they like and what they don't like. To gain that insight and knowledge is invaluable to me. It allows me to learn and to better myself as a builder and real estate agent. Before I became a real estate agent, I was constantly frustrated with the "us vs. them" approach to buying a home. My goal is that every buyer knows I am motivated to help them find their dream home. I want to answer buyer's questions. I want to reassure them in the decision making process. I want them to know that they are getting a better home at a better price than what the competition offers. I want them to love their new home. A good portion of Cooper Builders business has been from people who have purchased a home from us previously, or they have recommended us to family and friends.
While I spend most of my time committed to promoting the quality, innovative, and functional homes built by Cooper Builders, I am happy to put my expertise and experience in the industry to work for clients who seek a down to earth, straight forward kind of realtor. I am focused on bringing the same commitment and integrity to every client relationship. If you are ready to buy, ready to sell, or just have a question, please feel free to contact me.
